Another wet and windy one at the home of Hockey 🏑 on Saturday as we welcomed an experienced Derby team to St Mary’s.

Real end to end game of hockey in difficult conditions coming from a goal down to end with a hard fought 3-2 win with goals from Ruth, Andrea and Linz (assists from Linz & Ruth)

The young guns all came through with energetic performances from Izzy, Holly, Grace & Ella whilst Anna, Ruth, Andrea, Kelly and Linz steadied and steered the ship. Loz spent the 2nd half in goal with a stress fracture on her foot 😳 releasing Hoppy for a super cameo in Centre defence. Sheer bloody mindedness and determination won the day so well done girls for digging deep and finding a way 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 and onto the next one we go!
